The durable aluminum filter captures dust and grease, which protects the fan's motor and extends its life. The fan not only sucks up odors and steam, but also dust and grease, which prevents grease from settling in the nooks and crannies of the kitchen. The filter only needs to be cleaned every 4-5 weeks and can easily be washed under running water.
